As society begins to make the transition towards a sustainable future, there is a serious need to address the inadequacies of our current housing and neighborhood typologies. By pairing both affordable and market rate housing into a singular development, we are able to create a dialogue between two economically diverse communities. Ultimately, with threats of resource scarcity, economic divides, and global instability, creating safe, viable communities is increasingly important.
